Description

Ammo Mig 20750 – Atom Acrylic Paint Set Early WWII Japanese Army Colors

  • acrylic paints for brush and airbrush
  • 4 colors in 20 ml bottles
  • water-based, fast-drying formula
  • manufacturer code: A.MIG-20750

The set includes 4 paints in the following colors:

  • ATOM-20016 Faded Yellow
  • ATOM-20051 Earth
  • ATOM-20057 Medium Brown
  • ATOM-20096 Dark Green

This set is specially designed to reproduce the camouflage colors of the Imperial Japanese Army during the early stages of WWII. The authentic shades – Tsuchi kusa iro (Earth), Tsuchi iro (Medium Brown), Kusa iro (Dark Green), and Kiiro (Faded Yellow) – were widely used between 1937 and 1942 in China and across the Pacific Islands. They were applied on vehicles such as the Type 95 Ha-Go light tank, the Type 94 and Type 97 Te-Ke tankettes, the Type 89 I-Go, and the Type 97 Chi-Ha medium tanks.

This selection saves valuable time by providing ready-to-use tones, eliminating the need to mix paints for accurate camouflage reproduction.

ATOM paints are water-based paints optimized for maximum performance when using both brush and airbrush.

These paints feature self-leveling properties, quick drying, and strong coverage. They are extremely durable, allowing application of acrylic and oil weathering products as well as decal solutions without damaging the finish. Each paint is supplied in a new transparent 20 ml bottle with a redesigned cap for easy one-handed use.

These paints are non-toxic and odorless.

They perform exceptionally well when brush painting and are also suitable for airbrushing, especially when avoiding solvent-based paints. While intended for scale models and miniatures, Atom paints can also be used on paper, wood, resin models, and even general hobby projects.

For airbrush use, paints must be thinned! We recommend Ammo Mig 2000 Acrylic Thinner, though other standard acrylic thinners may also be used.
