The Uran-9 is a Russian unmanned ground combat vehicle developed by 766 UPTK as part of Russia’s military robotics program. Designed for reconnaissance and direct fire support, it can engage both ground and air targets using its 30 mm 2A72 cannon, 7.62 mm PKT machine gun, and guided missiles (Ataka and Igla). The system is equipped with thermal imaging, laser rangefinders, and autonomous target tracking. Uran-9 was first deployed operationally in Syria, marking one of the earliest uses of armed robotic vehicles in combat.
