3D decals are add-ons for models made using state-of-the-art technology.

They mimic all kinds of instrument and clock panels, switches, etc. They combine ease of use (like a regular water-based decal) and fitting to an irregular surface with a spatiality that is not as achievable with either plastic or photo-etched details. They are factory-painted and customized for specific models to be glued together.

Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of model airplanes to be glued together in all the most popular scales, whose quality, detail and correctness place it among the world's leading manufacturers of plastic models.

It was originally best known for producing photo-etched (and later resin) add-ons for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. Eduard's models consist of a considerable number of parts with a very good fit and a very high degree of detailing. The "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, extras and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without add-ons and are aimed at beginner modelers.
