Description

A set of 3D decals for a 1/72 scale model of the TBM-3 aircraft.

The kit is dedicated to the model by Hobby Boss. Photo-etched parts are included in the kit.

3D decals are additions to models made using state-of-the-art technology.

They imitate all kinds of instrument and clock panels, switches, etc. They combine ease of use (like a regular water-based decal) and fitting to an irregular surface with a spatiality that is not as achievable with either plastic or photo-etched details. They are factory-painted and customized for specific models to be glued together.

Eduard was originally best known for producing photo-etched (and later resin) add-ons for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without add-ons and are aimed at beginner modelers.
