A set of decals for a 1/72 scale model of the Bf 109G aircraft.

The kit is dedicated to the Eduard model.

Decal sheets contain the nationality markings of the model being built, as well as often operating inscriptions and other details such as instrument panel clocks, etc.

The sheet may contain one or multiple marking options depending on the kit. Today, virtually every model to be glued together includes a decal sheet. There are also decals sold separately - for modelers who don't want to do the machine suggested by the manufacturer or are looking for a less popular paint job. The most popular type are water decals, where in order to apply the markings to the surface of the model, they must be momentarily immersed in water after being cut from the sheet.

Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of model airplanes to be glued together in all the most popular scales, whose quality, detail and correctness place it among the world's leading manufacturers of plastic models.

Eduard was originally best known for producing photo-etched (and later resin) add-ons for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. Eduard's models consist of a considerable number of parts with a very good fit and a very high degree of detailing. The "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, extras and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without add-ons and are aimed at beginner modelers.
