Description

Plastic model kit of the Curtiss P-40N Warhawk fighter aircraft

The Eduard 84210 kit represents the Curtiss P-40N Warhawk, one of the well-known American fighter aircraft of World War II. Aircraft from the P-40 family served with the United States Army Air Forces as well as many Allied air forces and took part in combat operations across multiple theatres of the war.

This Weekend Edition release contains plastic parts produced by Eduard and a decal sheet allowing the modeller to build one of four aircraft marking options. About the Curtiss P-40N Warhawk

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was one of the main American fighters during the early years of World War II. Although it was eventually surpassed by newer designs, it proved to be a rugged and reliable aircraft capable of operating effectively at low and medium altitudes.

P-40 fighters saw combat in many theatres including North Africa, China, Burma and the Pacific. The aircraft became widely recognized thanks to the famous “Flying Tigers” volunteer unit operating in China. The P-40N variant was one of the last and most widely produced versions of the aircraft, featuring weight reductions and various improvements to performance and equipment.
