TFace self-adhesive masks – double-sided canopy masking

TFace masks are two sets of masks – for the outer and inner sides of the canopy glazing – allowing you to paint the frames on both sides and reproduce the interior cockpit colour. The sheet also includes wheel masks.

The masks are cut from yellow self-adhesive paper suited to delicate surfaces. They are applied directly to the model before airbrushing and removed once the paint has dried.

About the aircraft – Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina:

The Consolidated PBY Catalina is one of the most famous American flying boats of World War II – a twin-engine parasol-wing aircraft used for maritime patrol, anti-submarine warfare, air-sea rescue and transport.

The PBY-5A was an amphibian fitted with retractable wheeled landing gear, allowing it to operate from both water and land runways. The Catalina was renowned for its long range and endurance; aircraft in USAAF service were designated OA-10A.
