Eduard JX127 is a set of self-adhesive 1:32 masks for painting the canopy framing and other glazing, and the wheel hubs, tailored to the He 111P model from Revell. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The base kit is not included.

Self-adhesive painting masks – crisp canopy frame edges

Eduard masks are self-adhesive stencils die-cut from low-tack yellow Kabuki masking paper suited to delicate model surfaces. They cover the clear areas of the glazing and leave only the canopy framing exposed, so that after airbrushing you get sharp, even frame edges – hard to achieve when masking by hand with tape.

The recommended method is to apply the masks to clean, degreased glazing, press the edges down firmly and then airbrush the paint. Once the paint has dried, the masks are removed. The masks are intended for single use and should not be left on the model for a long time.

About the aircraft – Heinkel He 111:

The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engined medium bomber that appeared in the mid-1930s, initially under the guise of an airliner. It featured a streamlined fuselage and, in later versions, a fully glazed asymmetric nose without a separate cockpit. It was powered by inline engines, most often Junkers Jumo 211 units. The airframe was all-metal, with an elliptical wing planform on early versions.

The He 111 was one of the Luftwaffe's main bombers in the first half of the Second World War, used in the Battle of Britain and on the Eastern Front, among others. As enemy air defences and fighters improved, its weak defensive armament and modest performance became serious limitations. It was also used as a transport, glider tug and missile carrier. Many thousands were built in numerous versions.
