The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was one of the principal fighters of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The Ki-43-II variant introduced structural improvements and enhanced performance compared to the initial production series. This Fine Molds 1:48 scale kit allows the modeler to build either the early or late version, representing different stages in the aircraft’s development.

About the Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa:

The Ki-43 Hayabusa entered service in the early 1940s and was widely used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. Allied forces assigned it the reporting name “Oscar.” The aircraft was noted for its excellent maneuverability and lightweight construction, making it highly effective in dogfights. The Ki-43-II was one of the most numerous variants and saw combat in China, Southeast Asia, and across the Pacific.
