Plastic model kit of the F-4B Phantom II VF-84 Jolly Rogers in 1:72 scale
The Fine Molds FF05 kit depicts the famous US Navy carrier-based fighter F-4B Phantom II in the iconic markings of VF-84 “Jolly Rogers”. The Phantom II served as the backbone of the US Navy and USMC during the 1960s and 1970s, participating in numerous conflicts including the Vietnam War. The F-4B was the first carrier-capable version of the Phantom, combining air superiority with strike capability.

Building the model:
This finely detailed kit accurately reproduces the aircraft’s shape, cockpit and armament. The included markings allow modelers to recreate the distinctive skull-and-crossbones insignia of VF-84 “Jolly Rogers”.

About the F-4B Phantom II VF-84:
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was a two-seat, twin-engine supersonic jet fighter used extensively by the US Navy, USMC and USAF. Entering service in 1961, the F-4B was the first carrier-capable version of the Phantom. Among its most famous operators was VF-84 “Jolly Rogers”, whose skull-and-crossbones insignia became a symbol of naval aviation. The F-4B saw heavy combat in the Vietnam War, serving in both air superiority and strike roles.
