Preparation and painting:

The 3D-printed figures are removed from the print supports, cleaned up gently and glued with cyanoacrylate if they consist of several parts. Before painting it is worth applying a modelling primer, which improves paint adhesion.

Acrylic paints in field-uniform shades, together with washes and shading techniques that emphasise the folds of clothing and the gear, are useful for painting modern military figures. The details of the face and equipment are best refined with a fine brush.
