About the T-60 light tank

The T-60 was a Soviet light tank developed by GAZ engineers in 1941 as a reconnaissance and infantry-support vehicle. Powered by a 70 hp GAZ-202 engine, it was armed with a 20 mm ShVAK cannon and a DT machine gun. Over 6,000 units were built and saw action at Moscow, Stalingrad, and in numerous Eastern Front operations. Its simplicity and reliability made it invaluable during the critical early years of the war.
