Captured Bedford MW truck in German service plastic model kit in 1:72 scale

The IBG 72165 kit represents a captured Bedford MW light truck used by German forces during World War II. Originally designed and produced in Great Britain, the Bedford MW served as a standard light transport vehicle for the British Army.

The vehicle was designed as a versatile truck capable of transporting supplies, equipment, and personnel. Thanks to its robust construction and reliable performance, it became widely used by British logistical and support units.

During the course of the war, some Bedford MW trucks were captured by German forces and subsequently pressed into service. Like many other captured vehicles, they were used primarily for transport and auxiliary duties.
