1:24 scale plastic kit – GAZ-A passenger car in German service

The ICM 24053 kit represents the GAZ-A, the Soviet-licensed version of the Ford A, in its captured service with the Wehrmacht. Production of the GAZ-A began in 1932 at Nizhny Novgorod under license from Ford. Although poorly suited to the harsh conditions of the USSR, the car was produced in large numbers over six years. Some were taken over by the Red Army, and later, during WWII, many examples were captured and put into service by German units.

About the GAZ-A:
