Acrylic paint set for WWII British armoured vehicles – ICM 3099

ICM 3099 is a themed set of six acrylic paints that makes it easier to reproduce the colours of British armour during the Second World War. It combines base and camouflage shades with colours useful for detailing and wear effects, so a model can be taken from primer to final finish without sourcing colours separately.

The paints are water-based and ready to apply straight from the bottle with a brush. For airbrushing, they are thinned with water or a dedicated thinner. A finely ground pigment gives smooth, even coverage on large hull surfaces as well as on small parts.

• Chocolate (Chipping) – a dark brown useful for chipping and wear effects

ICM acrylic paints – characteristics and use

ICM acrylic paints are water-based, odourless and comfortable to work with. They suit both brush and airbrush application and can be mixed to obtain intermediate shades. They take further coats, washes and finishing varnishes well, which makes them convenient for weathering techniques.

How to use:

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Apply the paint by brush straight from the bottle or, after thinning with water or an acrylic thinner, with an airbrush. The best coverage is achieved by painting thin coats over a previously primed surface. Wash brushes and tools in water immediately after use.
