Description

ICM Acrylic Paint Set – Vehicle Interiors 1930–1940 (6 × 12 ml)

ICM 3100 is a themed set of six water-based acrylic paints prepared for painting the interiors of cars from the interwar period and the early 1940s. The selection of shades matches the colours found in cabins, upholstery, wooden trim and metal fittings of vehicles from this era.

The paints can be applied by brush and by airbrush after thinning with water or a dedicated acrylic thinner. The water-based formula is odourless and comfortable to use during longer painting sessions.

  • Black (no. 1002)
  • Leather Brown (no. 1053)
  • Silver (no. 1024)
  • Tan Earth (no. 1058)
  • Offwhite (no. 1028)
  • Hull Red (no. 1052)

ICM acrylic paints – characteristics

ICM acrylic paints are water-based products with good coverage and a matt finish. They are suitable for painting plastic and resin models as well as figures. They blend well with each other, allowing intermediate shades to be mixed and matched to a specific vehicle.

For airbrush spraying the paint is thinned with water or an acrylic thinner; for brush painting it can be applied directly from the bottle or after slight thinning. Tools are cleaned with water after use.

How to use:

Shake the bottle thoroughly before use. Apply the paint to a clean, degreased surface, preferably over a primer coat. For airbrushing, thin with water or an acrylic thinner to the desired consistency. Apply successive coats once the previous ones have dried. Clean tools with water immediately after painting.

About the manufacturer – ICM:

ICM is a Ukrainian manufacturer of model kits and modelling accessories based in Kyiv, known for a wide range of military vehicles, historic cars, aircraft and figures. Since 2022 the company has also developed its own line of water-based acrylic paints, prepared as themed sets matched to specific models and eras. This gives the modeller a coherent palette ready to reproduce a given vehicle or aircraft.
