Plastic model kit "Doctor on Call" – Ford Model T Coupe with figures in 1:35 scale

ICM 35829 "Doctor on Call" is a set combining the classic Ford Model T car in its 1918 Coupe version with a set of four figures. The tall, fully enclosed coupe body protected the driver from the weather and was popular with doctors travelling to their patients – a theme that inspired the whole set.

The car model is made partly from new moulds, using the proven design of the popular Ford Model T. The included figures allow an atmospheric early-20th-century genre scene to be built.

Building the model:

The set combines building a vehicle with painting figures, so it will appeal to modellers who enjoy varied tasks. The interior and chassis of the car are best painted before the body is closed, and the small figure parts before assembly. Delicate elements such as suspension parts and wheel spokes require care when removing them from the sprues.

The Ford Model T is typically painted in the black body colour characteristic of the period, complemented by wooden and leather interior details. The figures are best finished in early-20th-century civilian clothing colours, emphasising faces and clothing folds with washes.
