The Handley Page HP.52 Hampden was one of the RAF’s early World War II medium bombers. The TB.Mk.I variant was adapted to carry torpedoes and was mainly operated by RAF Coastal Command in anti-shipping roles. ICM 48353 in 1:48 scale allows you to recreate this distinctive twin-engine aircraft with its narrow fuselage and characteristic profile.

Assembly

Careful assembly and painting are required to achieve an accurate historical appearance. Decals are provided for RAF markings.

About the HP.52 Hampden:

The HP.52 Hampden was designed in the late 1930s as a fast medium bomber. In the early years of the war, it participated in bombing raids over Germany, and later some aircraft were converted to torpedo bomber configuration. The TB.Mk.I served with Coastal Command units conducting attacks against enemy ships and convoys. Its slim fuselage earned it the nickname “Flying Suitcase.”
