Mr.Hobby Mr. Masking Sol Re2 M135 Masking Liquid – 20 ml
Mr. Masking Sol Re2 is a water-based masking liquid that replaces the former Mr. Masking Sol R. While the base component has been renewed, the usability and application method remain unchanged. The product forms an elastic protective film that can be removed after painting.

This masking liquid is especially suitable for curved, uneven, or complex surfaces where masking tape is difficult to apply. After drying, it creates a thin, flexible layer resistant to most hobby paints.
Usage tips:
- Apply the liquid with a brush to the area to be masked.
- Allow it to dry completely before painting.
- After painting, gently peel off the masking layer.
- If removal is difficult, dissolve and lift the film using a cotton swab soaked in water.
- The dried layer can be cut with a sharp hobby knife; using a new blade is recommended.
The product is water-soluble and can be diluted to adjust its consistency. Please note that water-based paints such as Aqueous Hobby Color or Acrysion may partially dissolve the masking layer during application.
Mr. Masking Sol Re2 replaces the discontinued Mr. Masking Sol R.
