Mr.Hobby SM211 Super Red Gold is a high-quality metallic model paint that delivers a rich, glossy red gold appearance. Best applied with an airbrush for a perfectly smooth surface and intense shine.

The Mr Super Metallic 2 series is a line of metallic colors designed for airbrush application.

Metallic particles create an excellent finish on plastic surfaces, making the painted surface shine like real metal. The manufacturer allows brush painting, but the results will not match those achieved with an airbrush. These paints share the same properties as Mr.Color C series paints, so they can be used in the same ways described below.

Mr.Hobby C series paints are premium acrylic lacquers based on organic solvents, offering exceptional color accuracy, richness, quality, and durability.

They are known for their strong solvent smell, often mistakenly referred to as “cellulose” paints. Unlike typical acrylic or vinyl paints, C series paints do not clog airbrushes and are easy to clean from tools. Properly thinned, they are among the best paints for airbrush model painting. The full palette includes over 220 shades for aircraft, armor, ships, and cars, with colors developed to accurately reproduce original tones and finishes – matte, semi-matte, or gloss.

Brush painting - according to the manufacrurer - is possible, but our experience shows that it's very difficult and gives poor results. We don't recommend those paints for paintbrushing. If you don'r own an airbrush, we suggest that you use AK Interactive 3 Gen acrylics, Vallejo Model Color or Hataka from B(lue) line acrylic paints.

Shake and thin the paint before use. Use Mr.Color Thinner (50, 110, 250, or 400 ml) or Mr.Color Leveling Thinner (110 or 400 ml) for best results. The leveling thinner improves application and the final finish. Recommended thinning ratio: 1–1.5 parts paint to 3 parts thinner.

Mr.Color paints are stable and can be stored for a long time in tightly sealed containers. If thickened, use Mr.Color Replenishing Agent to restore proper consistency without loss of quality. They dry quickly, but depending on thinner and layer thickness, full curing may take up to 24 hours.

Suitable for plastic models and figures, as well as metal and resin models. Can be applied directly to the surface, but priming is recommended.
