Set of Two ÖBB Telescopic Hood Wagons – Era IV, H0 Scale

This set includes two telescopic hood freight wagons operated by the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) during Era IV. The models feature finely crafted bodies with numerous separately attached components and highly detailed underframes. Thanks to precision tooling and substantial weight, the wagons offer excellent smooth-running performance. Clean paintwork and crisp printing complete their realistic appearance.

Telescopic hood wagons were developed to transport weather-sensitive goods such as steel coils, paper rolls, and prefabricated parts. Their sliding roofs and side walls allowed quick access from either side without dismantling the cover structure.
