H0 scale PKP covered freight wagon set – Era III

PIKO 28346 is a set of two covered freight wagons (Verschlagwagen) representing Polish State Railways rolling stock from Era III. The set includes one wagon with a brake cabin and one without, allowing realistic reproduction of historical freight trains.

On the prototype, wagons of this type were often used for livestock transport. The models feature separately applied handrails and fine steps, enhancing their realistic appearance.

With reliable running characteristics, these wagons are suitable for use in short local freight trains as well as longer goods consists hauled by steam locomotives typical of Era III.
