Description
Unassembled plastic model kit of a Japanese destroyer Kagero.
Scale of the model - 1/700
Set includes:
- plastic sprues with parts of the model kit
- decal sheet
- assembly instructions with painting and marking diagrams
Paint and glue not included.
Unassembled model kit, requires cutting out and gluing the parts together.
Kit includes an assembly instructions which depicts the correct order of cutting out and gluing the parts together. Instruction also contains suggested paint numbers of different brands for painting the kit. Final step is to apply the included waterslide marking in the correct places as shown in the assembly instructions.
Building this model kit requires following basic tools:
- craft knife or sprue cutters
- small files or sandpapers in different gradations
- paintbrushes in different sizes
- glue for plastic model kits
- paint set chosen according to the instructions or with the help of our staff
- if the model kit includes resin or photoetched parts a CA type glue would be required
Pit Road is a Japanese manufacturer of high quality plastic model kits covering various ships and warships in 1/700 scale and some AFVs - mainly in 1/35 scale.
Beginning of the company dates back to 1981 when it was established as a hobby store and it entered the model market with their own kits in 1987. To this day, 1/700 scale waterline ships model kits remain their flagship line of products. They also produce a range of 1/35 AFVs. Pit Road produces very well detailed model kits with a great part fit. They mostly depict vehicles used by Japanese armed forces which can be an interesting addition to the collection of any modeller. Pit Road model kits will find their place in any modeller’s workshop - beginner and veteran alike and will provide a pleasant building experience.
