Takom 2209W is a special “x2 Box” edition in 1:35 scale containing two super-heavy American vehicle models: the T28 Super Heavy Tank (also known as the T95 Gun Motor Carriage) and its developmental concept, the M28A1/A2 Super Assault Tank. The set allows comparison between the original design and its proposed evolution.

Assembly

The kit enables construction of two massive vehicles with integral fighting compartments and complex running gear assemblies. The models can be finished in late World War II US Army colors or presented as hypothetical operational vehicles.

About the T28 / M28A1/A2:

The T28 (T95) was an American super-heavy self-propelled gun project initiated in 1944 to break through heavily fortified enemy positions. The conceptual M28A1/A2 development aimed to further enhance the combat capabilities of this heavily armored platform. Both designs were characterized by extremely thick armor and enormous weight, which significantly limited mobility.
