This RS Models kit reproduces the Avia Ba.122.8 aerobatic aircraft flown by Petr Široký during the Berlin 1936 Olympic displays. The Ba.122 was renowned for its agility, strength, and refined aerodynamic design, making it one of the leading aerobatic machines of its era. About the Avia Ba.122
The Avia Ba.122 was a highly successful Czechoslovak aerobatic aircraft of the 1930s. With a steel-tube fuselage, fabric-covered wings, and responsive flight characteristics, it became a favourite among competitive pilots. Petr Široký, one of the prominent Czech aerobatic pilots of the era, displayed remarkable skill flying the Ba.122 at the 1936 Berlin events.
