The 1:72 scale Molch midget submarine from Revell represents one of the most unusual naval designs developed by Germany during the final phase of World War II. These one-man submarines were intended for covert attacks in coastal waters and harbours in an attempt to counter Allied naval superiority.

About the Molch midget submarine:

The Molch was a one-man German midget submarine introduced in 1944. Armed with two torpedoes, it was intended for attacks on enemy shipping in ports and coastal waters. Due to limited performance and difficult operating conditions, the type achieved little success, but it remains an interesting example of late-war naval innovation.
