Robo 272201 H0 - Bicycle and passenger car type 609A PKP IC station Wrocław with lighting

Model of a bicycle-passenger train car in the paint scheme of PKP Intercity.

Made of plastic and metal elements, the model of an electric railroad carriage in H0 scale i.e. 1/87. It is a miniature of a bicycle-passenger carriage type 609A. The paint job depicts a wagon used by PKP Intercity during the VI era falling from 2007 to the present.

The model fits to the Wroclaw depot in Intercity painting: 244530(1), 222210(1), 222220(1), 222240(1), 2112410. The model is equipped with specially designed hooks for bicycles, bicycles as separate elements, elements of bars from sheet metal for self-assembly. A canteen for the train attendant and manager was reproduced, luggage shelves in the luggage compartment. Clearance between compartments as in reality. The model has power take-offs installed in the bogies and power supply cables led inside the model, it has 2 alternators in the bogies. There is a factory-installed interior lighting with the possibility of installing a digital decoder MTC 21pin, which allows lighting to be switched on and off from the position of the train control manipulator. The car is equipped with so-called short couplers with no gap between them.

In 1981-82, production of Type 609A baggage and passenger cars began.

These cars consisted of 4 2nd class compartments, which allowed the number of seats on the train to be increased, and a side corridor that allowed passengers to pass freely through the carriage and a lockable luggage compartment. This allowed the wagon to be placed anywhere in the lineup. A total of 100 Type 609A railcars were built. Due to the installed steam heating and single-voltage 3kV electric heating, these railcars were intended for domestic traffic only.
