W zestawie znajduje się instrukcja, która w sposób obrazkowy przedstawia kolejność wycinania części z ramek i ich składania. W instrukcji znajdują się też sugestie dotyczące wyboru farb do malowania modelu. Ostatnim etapem składania modelu jest naniesienie na powierzchnię modelu kalkomanii lub naklejek znajdujących w zestawie zgodnie z przedstawionym schematem.

Do budowy modelu niezbędny będzie podstawowy zestaw narzędzi:

• skalpel lub cążki modelarskie
• pilniki lub papiery ścierne o różnej grubości
• pędzelki o różnej wielkości
• zestaw farb zgodnie z instrukcją lub dobrany indywidualnie przez pracownika naszego sklepu modelarskiego
• pomimo, że są to modele do składania zalecamy użycie kleju do łączenia w celu zapewnienia większej trwałości modelu
