Speedpaint is a special line of The Army Painter paints for fas painting of miniatures. Water soluble paints in 18ml plastic bottles with dropper. Unique formula of the Speedpaints allow you to paint, shade and highlight your models with a single paint application. This way, you can esily and quickly paint larger batches of miniatures, which is an important factor for wargames and board games with lots of models. Paint is designed to be applied straight from the bottle using a brush. They also can be used in an airbrush - when spraying them they become something more akin to a filter, that allows a very subtle alterations to the base colour. sFor best results miniatures must be primed using white or light grey primer. This will allow the details to be properly accented and the whole miniature to gain the required level of contrast. Speedpaints can be diluted with water or with a dedicated Speedpaint Medium thinner. They can be also mixed together to obtain virtually unlimited number of shades and midtones. Due to their special formulation we don't recommend mixing them with standard acrylic paints as this will make them lose their special shading/highlighting properties.

Since their appearance on the model making market acrylic paints have revolutionized the hobby.
