1:72 scale plastic model of the Soviet MZ-38 oil-servicing vehicle
The Unimodels 590 kit represents the MZ-38, a Soviet fuel and oil servicing vehicle built on the three-axle GAZ-AAA chassis. These vehicles played a crucial support role on Red Army airfields during WWII, providing essential maintenance and refuelling for military aircraft. The model is an excellent addition to Eastern Front airfield dioramas.

Assembly and modelling notes:
The model requires careful part removal, cleaning and fitting, especially the multi-axle chassis and service body. It is recommended for hobbyists with some modelling experience. Painting can follow the included scheme or colours typical for Soviet technical vehicles of the WWII era.

About the MZ-38:
The MZ-38 was a specialised oil and fuel servicing vehicle operated by the Soviet Air Force, built on the GAZ-AAA 6×4 truck. Equipped with pumps and storage for lubricants and fuel, it ensured rapid servicing of aircraft on improvised airfields. Although not a frontline vehicle, it was indispensable for maintaining air operations.
