Very Fire 1:350 detail-up set for IJN Takao heavy cruiser
The Very Fire VF350904UP is an upgrade set designed for 1:350 scale models of the IJN Takao heavy cruiser. With photo-etched parts, turned metal barrels and resin components, it allows modelers to recreate the ship with far more precision and accuracy than the standard kit alone.
The set includes:
- Photo-etched parts with railings, ladders, platforms and deck fittings
- Turned metal barrels for main, secondary and anti-aircraft guns
- Resin components enhancing the superstructure and weaponry
- Additional replacement and fine detail parts
Note: The base kit is not included.
This set is recommended for intermediate and advanced modelers. Assembly requires precision tools and cyanoacrylate glue for metal and resin parts. It elevates the IJN Takao model to a display-level piece, rich in realistic detail.
About IJN Takao:
IJN Takao was a Japanese heavy cruiser, launched in 1930 as the lead ship of her class. Armed with ten 203 mm guns and strong anti-aircraft weaponry, she served extensively across the Pacific during World War II. Takao fought in several major battles, including Leyte Gulf, where she sustained heavy damage. After the war, she was scuttled as a target in 1946. Together with her sister ships, Takao was among the most formidable heavy cruisers of her time.
