Zebrano Z100-292 – 1:100 ZIS-42M Soviet Truck
This kit represents the Soviet ZIS-42M half-track truck – an improved version of the ZIS-42, based on the standard ZIS-5 chassis. It was designed to handle rough terrain and poor roads, making it ideal for wartime logistics. Used extensively by the Red Army during World War II, this unique vehicle is now available as a finely detailed 1:100 scale resin model.

About the ZIS-42M truck:
The ZIS-42M was an upgraded half-track version of the ZIS-5 truck, developed to improve traction in difficult terrain such as snow, mud, and unpaved roads. It retained the standard ZIS-5 cab and front end, combined with a tracked rear axle. The vehicle was used to transport supplies, ammunition, and personnel across demanding battlefield environments. Although produced in limited numbers, it played a vital role in Soviet logistics.
