Plastic model kit of the Douglas DC-3 Conroy Tri-Turbo-Three
The A&A Models 7246 kit represents the experimental Conroy Tri-Turbo-Three version of the famous Douglas DC-3. This rare modification was an ambitious attempt to modernize the legendary Dakota by fitting three turboprop engines – two mounted on the wings and one additional in the nose. Although only a prototype was built, it remains one of the most unusual chapters in the history of DC-3 conversions.
The kit includes:
- plastic sprues with detailed parts
- decals with Conroy Tri-Turbo-Three markings
- clear assembly instructions

Although the project remained at the prototype stage, it stands out as an extraordinary example of engineering ingenuity and the enduring potential of the DC-3 design.
