Black precise wash. Its special formula allows for very precise highlighting of elements through capillarity, avoiding opening the paint and concentrating it around the desired parts. The color is ideal for use on dark colors or elements that require maximum contrast.

Wash is one of the basic finishing techniques that improves the final appearance of a model and gives it more realism.

It very quickly enhances the appearance and makes the model no longer look like a toy. The best use of washes is to match the parting lines of sheet metal and any protruding or concave details with them, and then wipe off the excess so as to create a border effect of edges and false shadows. In modeling, oil washes are most commonly used, and can be washed off and modulated with White Spirit or oil paint thinner without risking damage to previously applied paints. Washes are best applied on a model protected with acrylic glossy clearcoat, which improves their spreadability over the surface, and also makes it easier to rub off completely if you make a mistake or don't like the effect. In order to properly perform a wash on a model, use a color much darker than the base color the model is painted with.

    • Avoid contact with skin. In case of contact with skin, remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water or other cleanser. NEVER use solvents or thinners.
    • Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapour/spray. Use in well-ventilated areas.
    • Do not smoke or consume food and drink in the area where the product is used.
    • Keep the container tightly closed.
    • Store in a well-ventilated, cool place, away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Take measures to prevent electrostatic discharge. Do not use tools that may cause sparks.
    • Dispose of packaging in accordance with local regulations.
