This black wax has high covering power on wood, cork and foam. It can be applied with a brush or rubbed in with a cloth, gently spreading the wax on the surface. It is suitable for staining wooden coasters and many works on porous materials. Wax paint is a thick enamel-based product with a slow drying time. Note that this paint, unlike other paints in the True Metal series, does not have a metallic finish!

True Metal paints/waxes are an easy and durable way to achieve realistic effects of various metallic coatings on plastic models.

They can be applied with a cloth, swab, finger or brush. High pigmentation provides optimal coverage. Once dry, they can be polished with a cotton cloth until a high gloss finish is achieved. The wide range of colors makes it possible to reproduce any metal plating on airplanes, vehicles, or suspensions, or realistic metal discoloration effects on jet engine nozzles. We recommend using True Metal series paints on glossy, black surfaces to achieve the best possible result. Once dry, it is a good idea to protect them with a clear acrylic varnish.
