The Eduard 11187 Limited Edition “Dual Combo” kit presents two complete models of the iconic Curtiss Kittyhawk – the early Mk.Ia (P-40E) and the later Mk.IV (P-40N). Both aircraft served extensively with Allied air forces, including the RAF, RAAF, RNZAF, and SAAF, in multiple theaters of World War II such as North Africa, the Pacific, and the Far East.

This Dual Combo Limited Edition set includes two full model kits with Eduard’s high-quality plastic sprues, photo-etched details, and canopy masks. It allows you to build both the early Kittyhawk Mk.Ia (P-40E) and the improved Mk.IV (P-40N) versions. Decals cover ten historically accurate aircraft from RAF, RAAF, RNZAF, and SAAF squadrons, providing a rich selection of color schemes and markings from various WWII fronts.

About the Kittyhawk:

The Curtiss P-40, known as the Kittyhawk in Commonwealth service, was one of the most important Allied fighters of the early years of World War II. The Mk.Ia (P-40E) was equipped with the powerful Allison V-1710 engine and six .50 caliber Browning machine guns, while the Mk.IV (P-40N) featured aerodynamic improvements and reduced weight. Rugged and reliable, the Kittyhawk served across multiple theaters, from the deserts of North Africa to the jungles of the Pacific, earning a reputation as a dependable and tough frontline fighter.
