3D decal set with photo-etched elements for the 1/48 scale model of the B-24D aircraft.

Set recommended for a kit made by Hobby Boss.

3D decals are additions to models made using state-of-the-art technology.

They imitate all kinds of instrument and clock panels, switches, etc. They combine ease of use (like a regular water-based decal) and fitting to an irregular surface with a spatiality that is not as achievable with either plastic or photo-etched details. They come prepainted and are designed for a particular sets of plastic model kits.

Eduard is a Czech manufacturer of unassembled plastic model kits for model airplanes in all the most popular scales, whose quality, detail and correctness place it among the world's leading plastic model manufacturers.

Originally best known for producing photo-etched (and later also resin) add-ons for plastic models, in which it is still the undisputed leader. Eduard's models consist of a considerable number of parts with a very good fit and a very high degree of detailing. "Profipack" kits include, in addition to the model, accessories and masks for painting and are aimed at modelers with experience in the hobby. "Weekend" kits are plastic model without add-ons and are aimed at beginner modelers.
