Colour photo-etched parts – detailing the interior and surfaces

Photo-etched parts are produced by chemically etching thin metal sheet, allowing details of a thinness impossible in injection moulding – instrument panels, seatbelts, levers, grilles and fine skin details.

Some of the parts in this set are factory pre-painted (colour photo-etch), so the instrument panels and consoles are ready to fit without painting. The parts are best attached with cyanoacrylate glue, and delicate elements can be shaped with a photo-etch bending tool.

About the aircraft – F-16I Sufa:

The F-16I Sufa (Hebrew for 'Storm') is a two-seat Israeli derivative of the F-16D Block 52+, developed for long-range strike missions. It is distinguished by a dorsal avionics spine and conformal fuel tanks (CFT) on the fuselage that greatly extend its range.

The F-16I forms the backbone of the Israeli Air Force's strike fleet, integrating numerous Israeli-made weapons and avionics systems. The two-man crew allows piloting and combat-systems duties to be shared during long missions.
