Eduard CX701 painting masks – B-24D US National Insignia in 1:72 scale (Airfix)
The Eduard CX701 mask set is designed for the Airfix B-24D Liberator in 1:72 scale. It provides pre-cut masks for painting the U.S. national insignia (stars and bars) directly on the model surface. Using masks instead of decals ensures a realistic appearance and seamless integration with the painted finish.
Painting masks make the painting process easier for modellers using an airbrush.
This set enables accurate airbrushing of U.S. national insignia typical of B-24D bombers of the USAAF. Each mask is precisely cut and dimensioned to match the Airfix kit parts and historical markings. Made from yellow self-adhesive masking paper, the masks adhere well and remove easily after painting, leaving sharp, clean edges. The result is a durable, authentic look without the film effect of traditional decals.
