Eduard JX501 mask set – auxiliary masks for the F-4 Phantom model (Tamiya) in 1:32 scale

Eduard JX501 is a set of self-adhesive 1:32 masks to help mask selected areas of the model that are awkward to mask, tailored to the F-4 Phantom model from Tamiya. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The base kit is not included.

Auxiliary masks – faster masking of awkward areas

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to selected areas of the model that are hard to mask with tape. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges and speeding up painting.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried.

About the aircraft – McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II (incl. F-4C):

The F-4 Phantom II is an American twin-engine, two-seat combat aircraft with high speed and payload, initially designed as a carrier interceptor that developed into a multirole machine. It is distinguished by its characteristic upturned wingtips and drooping horizontal tail. Its main armament initially consisted solely of missiles, without an internal cannon.

The Phantom served with the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force of the United States and with many allies, acting as a fighter, strike and reconnaissance aircraft. The F-4C version was a land-based Air Force variant used intensively in Vietnam. The machine was produced in large numbers over many years. More than 5000 examples were built.
