Eduard JX504 is a set of self-adhesive 1:32 masks for reproducing the propeller spinner spiral, tailored to the Fw 190A/F model from Eduard. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The base kit is not included.

Propeller spinner spiral masks – an even pattern without freehand painting

This set contains masks for reproducing the spiral on the propeller spinner by spraying rather than painting by hand. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper and shaped to the spinner, giving the spiral even, repeatable edges.

The masks are applied over a painted, cured spinner, the edges are pressed down and the paint is airbrushed, then removed once dry.

About the aircraft – Focke-Wulf Fw 190A/F:

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-seat fighter monoplane of the Second World War, designed by Kurt Tank. Unlike the inline-engined Messerschmitt Bf 109, it used an air-cooled BMW 801 radial engine, a wide-track main undercarriage and heavy armament. The design was easy to maintain and fly and tolerant of battle damage. The prototype flew in 1939 and series production began soon after.

The A series was the main fighter version, while the F variant was developed as a ground-attack aircraft for close support of ground forces, with armour and external ordnance. The Fw 190A/F served on all European fronts and in the defence of the Reich. Together with the Bf 109 family it formed the core of German fighter aviation. Many sub-variants differed in armament and equipment.
