Eduard XT225 is a set of self-adhesive 1:35 masks to make painting the model easier, tailored to the Grant Mk.II model from MiniArt. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp edges without hand masking with tape. The kit is not included.

Painting masks for the model – faster, more accurate painting

This set contains self-adhesive masks shaped to the model, making it easier to paint selected areas – depending on the set these may be the road wheels, glazing or other details. The masks are die-cut from yellow Kabuki masking paper, giving sharp, even edges without hand masking with tape.

The masks are applied to the model before spraying and removed once the paint has dried. The set speeds up painting and improves its precision.

About the vehicle – M3 Grant Mk.II (British version of the M3 Lee tank):

The M3 Grant was a British variant of the American M3 medium tank, supplied to the British army during World War II. Its distinctive armament layout comprised a 75 mm gun in a hull side sponson and a smaller 37 mm gun in a rotating turret. The Grant version had a redesigned, roomier turret with a rear bustle housing a radio and without the American commander's cupola, which lowered the silhouette and reduced the crew.

The Grant gained fame in the 1942 North African campaign, where its 75 mm gun could engage German tanks at greater range than earlier British vehicles. A drawback remained the mounting of the main armament in the hull, which limited the arc of fire and forced the vehicle to expose itself. As Sherman tanks arrived, the M3 Grant was gradually withdrawn from the front line to auxiliary and training duties.
