The 0.6 mm nozzle set is a complete head for re-equipping a Harder & Steenbeck airbrush for heavy coverage. As the largest standard diameter in the brand's range it lets you cover larger areas quickly and work with thicker media. The set contains a needle, a nozzle and an air cap with seals – everything needed to change the size.

Please note: this is an upgrade set, not a standalone airbrush

The set is fitted to a Harder & Steenbeck airbrush. To work you also need the airbrush itself and – as with any airbrush – a modelling compressor with a hose, paints suitable for spraying and a cleaning fluid (not included).

Features and handling

On Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes the head is changed without tools – simply unscrew the air cap, swap the nozzle and needle, then reassemble the head. In this classic set the needle and nozzle share the same 0.6 mm size and work as a matched pair of identical diameter.

Applications

The 0.6 mm diameter suits primers, varnishes, painting large areas (e.g. car models, larger parts, dioramas) and thicker paints. It complements finer detail heads well when you need fast, even coverage.
