The ICM 35604 kit recreates the unique mobile headquarters used by Field Marshal Bernard Law Montgomery, one of Britain’s most renowned commanders of WWII. Built on a Leyland Retriever truck chassis, the specially designed superstructure was divided into two rooms and functioned as a field office for Montgomery and his staff. The set also includes figures of British officers and soldiers, making it ideal for diorama builders.

About Montgomery and his staff:

By late 1943 he commanded the 21st Army Group and became Supreme Commander of Allied ground forces in Europe. His success was supported by his staff, operating with him in mobile field offices such as this Leyland Retriever conversion.
