These jets are equipped with AIM‑9 and AIM‑120 missiles, as well as precision-guided munitions like the GBU‑39, JDAM‑ER, and SDB.

The first reported use of Ukrainian F‑16s occurred in August 2024 during a large-scale air defense operation against missile and drone threats. By early 2025, the aircraft were also used for precision ground attacks using GBU‑39 bombs. One of their standout features is the use of ECIPS+ electronic countermeasure pods to jam enemy radar systems.
