1:72 scale plastic model of the B-17F Flying Fortress
The Italeri 1487 kit recreates the Boeing B-17F, one of the most famous American heavy bombers of World War II. The F variant introduced revised glazing, strengthened airframe components and improved defensive armament. B-17Fs participated in early USAAF daylight bombing raids over Europe, earning a reputation for durability and combat effectiveness.

About the B-17F Flying Fortress:
The Boeing B-17 is one of the most recognisable bombers in history. The F version improved on earlier models with redesigned nose glazing and stronger defensive armament. These aircraft served in the 8th Air Force over Europe and were involved in key operations throughout 1942–1943.
