This analog H0 scale model from the PIKO Expert series represents the ET22 electric freight locomotive in modern PKP Cargo livery. Analog or digital control – what to choose?

This analog model is ideal for use on traditional layouts. With its built-in decoder interface, it can be easily upgraded for digital operation. Digital control allows for independent running of multiple locomotives on the same track and full use of lighting and sound functions, offering a much more realistic railway experience.

About the ET22 locomotive:

The ET22 is one of the most iconic electric locomotives in Poland. Produced by Pafawag in Wrocław between 1971 and 1989, over 1,100 units were built. Although designed for freight service, the ET22 was also used in passenger transport throughout its career.

It features a six-axle design, a power output of 3000 kW, and robust construction, making it ideal for heavy-duty operations. Many ET22 units are still active today, especially in their modernized PKP Cargo liveries, such as the one reproduced in this model.

PIKO’s model faithfully captures the modern look and proportions of this classic locomotive, making it a great addition to any Polish model railway layout.
