About type 110A coaches:

The 110A coach design was based on UIC-Y standards and manufactured by PaFaWag starting in the late 1960s. These coaches were commonly used in overnight and long-distance services, in both couchette and sleeper configurations.

During Era IV, the 110A coaches formed the backbone of PKP’s passenger fleet for both national and international connections. They featured a classic boxy silhouette, green-olive livery, and a compartment layout that defined the comfort of long-distance travel in that era.
