Model of a Gbs-type covered goods wagon in the commemorative "100 Years of Polish State Railways" livery

This is an announced model of a Gbs-type covered goods wagon in the colours of the Polish State Railways, produced by PIKO in H0 scale to mark the centenary of PKP. It is a commemorative collector's item whose central feature is a specially designed anniversary paint scheme. The detailed technical data of the model will be confirmed after its official release and the publication of the manufacturer's catalogue sheet.

The wagon is presented in a light, silvery-white body tone overlaid with a broad red band carrying rich graphics – the combination of white and red echoes the national colours. Commemorative models of this kind are popular with collectors and look attractive both on a layout and on a display shelf.

The commemorative "100 Years of PKP" livery:

The central motif of the livery is a large white eagle placed in the middle of the red band, flanked by the slogans "200 years of railways" and "100 years of PKP". Along the side of the wagon runs the inscription "100 Years of Polish State Railways" together with the PKP logo, and the composition is completed by stylised line drawings of vehicles symbolising the development of Polish traction – a historic steam locomotive and a modern electric locomotive – set along a timeline crowned with the year 2026. Together they form a coherent, legible anniversary graphic dominated by white and red. The body also carries the wagon's standard operational markings (including the Gbs type designation and PKP operator data).
