Description
Unassembled plastic model kits of German submarine Type IX C/40.
Scale of the model - 1/144
The kit includes:
- frames with parts to be glued together
- decal sheet
- instructions for assembling the model, along with a presentation of possible paint versions
The kit does not include glue and paints.
model requires assembly by gluing its parts together.
The model includes instructions that pictorially show the sequence of cutting out parts and gluing them together. The instructions also include suggestions on how to choose paints for painting the model. In the final step, the decals included in the kit should be applied to the surface of the model according to the scheme shown.
To build the model you will need a basic set of tools:
- scalpel or modeling pliers
- files or various thicknesses of sandpaper
- brushes of various sizes
- modeling glue for plastic
- a set of paints according to the instructions or individually selected by an employee of our model store
- if your model contains metal or resin parts, you will need cyanoacrylate glue for them

Revell of Germany is an independent German offshoot of this American company established in the '40s. The models have a lot of parts and sometimes require more attention to gluing, but have a good level of detail and affordable prices. They are suitable for both beginners and advanced modelers.
